Mr. Blakely has lived in Eugene for most of his adult life. He graduated from South Eugene High School in 1957. His beloved wife of 20 years, Saundra, passed four years ago from Alzheimer’s. He has two sons Justin, and a stepson Jon Baker. Mr. Blakely Has written twenty books about Oregon-History, novels, sports, and Bigfoot.
Mr. Blakely will be talking about Civic Stadium and Saturday Market and their importance to our community.
