Leather Wallet Workshop – Taller de Talabartería

A leather wallet making workshop, in collaboration with Comunidad y Herencia Cultural and the Charrería exhibit.

In this hands-on leather workshop, participants will learn foundational stitching techniques while crafting their own leather wallet or card holder. Guided step-by-step, attendees will explore basic tools, materials, and design elements, leaving with practical skills, a finished piece, and a deeper appreciation for traditional leather craftsmanship.

En este taller práctico de talabartería, los participantes aprenderán técnicas básicas de costura mientras elaboran su propia cartera. Guiados paso a paso, explorarán herramientas, materiales y elementos de diseño, y se llevarán
habilidades prácticas, una pieza terminada y una mayor apreciación por la artesanía tradicional en cuero.
