A brief Bushnell genealogy

Part I of these narratives recalls childhood memories in Missouri, the trail west with his widowed mother and family in the “Kirksville Party” – a portion of the Lost Wagon train of 1853 – and settlement in Lane County. Genealogical and biographical information are included.

Part II tells of his wife’s (Jemima Tandy) emigration in 1850 with the Tandy-Snelling-Harlow train and describes her early education and religion.
